Toco Rio is a Milwaukee based instrumental duo featuring Linda Binder on bandolim (the Brazilian version of a mandolin), and guitarist Jeff Binder.

Our repertoire consists mainly of music from the beautiful choro tradition of Brazil. Choro is an expressive and often joyful style, rich in rhythmic, harmonic and melodic variety.

We have enjoyed performing in the Milwaukee and Chicago area as a duo, and occasionally in an expanded version of the group, with added hand percussion, bass, and flute.
